The Company operates in a competitive environment within the paperboard packaging market, facing competition from plastic and other packaging materials. Its largest competitor in paperboard packaging is Smurfit WestRock plc. In non-beverage consumer packaging and foodservice, the Company competes with packaging made from paperboard, plastic, foam, molded fiber, and other materials. Competition factors include design and execution capabilities, price, functionality, appearance, quality, and customer service. In beverage packaging, the Company competes with other paperboard-based containers, plastic and shrink-wrap, and corrugated packaging.
