Graphic Packaging Holding Co's Comment on Supply Chain

The Company sources raw materials such as pine and hardwood trees and recovered fiber for its paperboard production. Its West Monroe, Louisiana; Macon, Georgia; and Texarkana, Texas facilities obtain pine and hardwood pulp and recovered fiber from private landowners and the open market, supplemented by clippings from packaging operations. The Company ensures that virgin fiber is sustainably sourced. The Kalamazoo, Michigan, and Waco, Texas facilities use recovered fiber procured from external suppliers and internal packaging operations. Additionally, the Company purchases paperboard, including recycled and bleached types, from outside vendors, primarily through long-term agreements with major industry suppliers. European packaging operations utilize unbleached paperboard from the Company's manufacturing facilities and external suppliers. Energy costs, including natural gas, fuel, oil, and electricity, are significant, and the Company employs contracts and hedging programs to manage natural gas price risks.
