Automotive industry reported declining sales in the February 2022 compare to the same month a year ago, led by .
Number of factors, including low incentives, limited availability and a flat economy, have constrained demand and will continue to keep the industry in check.
U.S. auto sales faded in February 2022 by -10.5 %, over the year to 1,085,000 vehicles, or -127,400 autos. Number of factors, including low incentives, limited availability and a flat economy, have constrained demand and will continue to keep the industry in check.
Meanwhile, compare to the month of January 2022, sales, grew by 5.7 %.
In February 2022 Light truck vehicle sales dropped by -10 %, to 831,200 units. The demand for the light trucks grew it's marketshare in the U.S. on declining sales, to 76.61 % in February 2022, from 76.21 % a year ago. As the demand for other car models dwindles.
There are people who put off vehicle purchases because of uncertainty about fuel prices, vehicle availability and the economy.
