Viridian Therapeutics Inc's Comment on Competition and Industry Peers

The biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries are characterized by rapid changes and intense competition in developing new technologies and proprietary products. The company's product candidates target multiple markets and will compete based on the diseases addressed and marketing authorizations obtained. Competitors include other companies, such as Amgen, which has greater resources and expertise. Amgen's Tepezza is the only FDA-approved medication for Thyroid Eye Disease (TED), with other therapies like corticosteroids used off-label for TED symptoms. Amgen is also developing an on-body subcutaneous formulation of Tepezza.
