Frequency Electronics Inc's Comment on Competition and Industry Peers

The company competes in all areas of its business with firms that are often larger and possess greater financial, research and development, and marketing resources. Competition is based on product accuracy, performance, reliability, ability to operate under severe conditions, and contract performance. The company’s capabilities include quartz and rubidium-based timing references and specialized RF microwave technology. There are fewer competitors for very high precision products, while many suppliers exist for lower precision products. For space products, principal competition comes from the in-house capabilities of major customers such as Boeing, Northrop Grumman, and Lockheed Martin.
