The company operates in a competitive environment across all its product lines and markets. Its products compete with other branded products in their categories as well as with private label products sold by retailers. The presence of contract manufacturing enables new entrants, which may increase competition and impact the company's competitive position. The company competes with independent retailers, department stores, catalog retailers, gift retailers, and Internet businesses. Due to the wide range of products offered, the company does not quantify the number of competitors it faces.
