The Company operates in 49 countries and competes in fragmented markets with various regional, specialized, large U.S., and non-U.S. companies. Each segment includes several main competitors and numerous smaller ones. In the Welding segment, the Company competes globally with Lincoln Electric Holdings, Inc. and ESAB Corporation. The Company’s competitive advantages are supported by the ITW Business Model and a decentralized operating structure, which facilitate rapid response to market changes and operational efficiency.
