Doordash Inc's Comment on Competition and Industry Peers

The company operates in a fragmented and highly competitive local food delivery logistics market. Its global competitors include Amazon, Uber Eats, Prosus, Delivery Hero, and other local incumbents. The company also competes with merchants that maintain their own online ordering platforms and delivery fleets, grocery stores and grocery delivery services, convenience stores with delivery options, providers of merchant delivery services, and traditional offline ordering methods such as take-out, telephone, and paper menus. As the company expands into additional verticals, it may encounter competition from other businesses with significant resources, user bases, and brand recognition.
