Aar's Comment on Competition and Industry Peers

The company operates in a competitive environment where key factors include quality, product and service range, delivery speed, and price. In the aviation sector, competitors consist of original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), service divisions of large commercial airlines, and independent suppliers of parts, repair, and overhaul services for commercial and defense markets. The Government Solutions segment faces competition from divisions of large corporations as well as other large and small companies. Although some competitors possess significantly greater financial and other resources, the company maintains its competitive position through responsiveness to customer needs, focus on safety and quality, a portfolio of high-quality solutions at lower cost, market expertise, technical knowledge, established customer relationships, and an integrated business model.
