The Company operates in a competitive commercial banking environment in metropolitan areas of Kansas and Missouri. Competitors include national, regional, and local financial institutions, credit unions, farm credit lenders, commercial finance companies, insurance companies, and other non-bank lenders. Smaller local institutions also compete by offering aggressive pricing and specialized loan structures and banking services. The Company's loan and deposit pricing strategies are influenced by competitor pricing and market conditions.
