Bioaffinity Technologies Inc's Comment on Competition and Industry Peers

CyPath® Lung is a noninvasive lung cancer test designed for adults at high risk of lung cancer, particularly those with small or indeterminate pulmonary nodules detected by low dose computed tomography (LDCT). The test utilizes sputum analysis through flow cytometry, distinguishing it from molecular tests used by competitors. CyPath® Lung has demonstrated high published performance metrics, although it has not been directly compared to competing tests. It is compared to LungLB, a test marketed by LungLife AI in the United States, which has lower sensitivity and specificity and was evaluated in a population with a higher disease prevalence than CyPath® Lung's target group. The company holds a patent portfolio comprising 19 issued U.S. and international patents related to its technology and diagnostic applications.
