Vistra's Comment on Competition and Industry Peers

Vistra Corp operates in markets where competition is influenced by electricity and fuel prices, power grid congestion, government subsidies for generation facilities including renewables and battery energy storage systems, new market entrants, construction of new generation assets, technological advances, and regulatory actions. Competitors include regulated utilities, industrial companies, non-utility generators, competitive subsidiaries of regulated utilities, independent power producers, retail electric providers, and other energy marketers.
