The recreational vehicle (RV) industry is characterized by high competition, low barriers to entry, and numerous manufacturers offering directly competing products. Competition factors include price, design, value, quality, and service. The company competes with other manufacturers, the market for used RVs, and other consumer leisure expenditures. There are approximately 80 RV manufacturers in the U.S. and Canada and about 30 in Europe. The company's primary competitors in the North American Towable and Motorized segments are Forest River, Inc. and Winnebago Industries, Inc. The company is the largest RV manufacturer in North America by units sold and revenue. FreedomRoads, LLC is a significant dealer, accounting for a notable portion of the company's sales and trade accounts receivable.
