Sinclair Inc's Comment on Competition and Industry Peers

The company operates in a highly competitive environment for viewers and advertisers, facing competition from programming networks, pay-per-view, video on demand, online streaming services, connected televisions, OTT and DTC platforms, mobile media, radio, motion picture, home video, stadiums and arenas, podcasts, outdoor advertising, and other entertainment and advertising services. Competitors include large companies with greater financial resources, local free over-the-air broadcast television and radio stations, distributors such as telecommunication companies, cable providers, and direct broadcast satellite providers, broadcast networks with DTC platforms, print media providers including direct mail and periodicals, and internet search engines. Key competitive factors include pricing, programming quantity, quality and variety, marketing effectiveness, reach, and audience demographics. Technological advancements by distributors enabling more channels and targeted programming may increase competition and affect advertising revenue.
