Studio City Casino operates in the competitive gaming industry in Macau and other parts of Asia. Its competitors include major global gaming, hospitality, leisure, and resort companies, some of which have larger scale, more diversified resources, stronger brand recognition, and greater access to capital. Recent competitive developments in the Cotai area, where Studio City is located, include the opening of new properties, expansion of existing operations, and announced future expansions. Notably, Galaxy Casino, S.A. has progressively opened phase 3 of the Galaxy Macau Resort.
