The company operates in aerospace, defense, and industrial markets, competing with tier one and tier two suppliers as well as vertically integrated prime contractors. Competitive factors include product quality, reliability, price, design and engineering capabilities, product development, adherence to customer specifications, delivery timeliness, distribution effectiveness, and post-sale support. In the Military and Commercial Aircraft segments, competitors specialize in precision flight control and control systems manufacturing. Competitors in the space market focus on thrust vector controls, spacecraft engines, mechanisms, avionics, and structural systems and components. Defense market competitors produce turreted weapons, missile steering actuation, and power and data transfer systems and components. In the industrial segment, competitors include manufacturers of industrial precision controls and medical devices.
