Griffon's Comment on Competition and Industry Peers

The long-handled tools and landscaping product industry is characterized by high competition and fragmentation, with most competitors being small, privately held companies specializing in single product categories. Key competitors include Fiskars Corporation in the hand tool and pruning tool market, Truper Herramientas S.A. de C.V. in the long-handled and garden tool segment, and Suncast Corporation in the hose reel and accessory market as well as the long-handled plastic snow shovel category. The industry also faces competition from imported products sourced from China, India, and other low-cost manufacturing countries. In the home storage and organizational solutions industry, CPP competes primarily under the ClosetMaid brands across retail, direct-to-consumer, and direct-to-installer channels. Its principal retail competition for wire products comes from items sourced from China, India, and other low-cost producing countries. FirstService Brands, Inc. offers competing wood solutions under the California Closets® brand but does not sell through retail or direct-to-consumer channels. The residential, industrial, and commercial fan industry is fragmented, with CPP marketing products under the Hunter brand through multiple channels and facing corresponding competition. Competitors identified include FirstService Brands, Inc., Fiskars Corporation, Suncast Corporation, and Truper Herramientas S.A. de C.V.
