Eaton competes based on product and system performance, technology, customer service and support, price, total cost of ownership, quality, design engineering capabilities, and timely delivery across its electrical products and systems, aerospace, and vehicle segments. The company holds a strong competitive position and is recognized as a market leader in many products and platforms. In 2025, 22% of electrical segment sales were to six large customers, while 20% of aerospace segment sales were to three major original equipment manufacturers of aircraft. The vehicle segment focuses on safety, efficiency, and performance technologies for automotive, commercial vehicle, aftermarket, and off-road customers, supporting both electrified vehicles and internal combustion engine solutions.
