Description of Datavault Ai Inc
Datavault AI Inc. is a technology licensing company specializing in patented secure platforms for data management, valuation, and monetization. The company utilizes proprietary high-performance computing and advanced software to maintain data ownership immutability, enable data observability, provide precise data asset valuation, and support secure monetization. Datavault operates two primary divisions: Data Sciences and Acoustic Sciences.
The Data Sciences division focuses on cyber-secure, privacy-protected data management and monetization technologies. It offers AI-driven agents, including Data Vault®, DataValue®, DataScore®, and Data Vault Bank®, delivered through a software-as-a-service platform. This division facilitates the secure acquisition, valuation, refinement, and monetization of data assets for organizations.
The Acoustic Sciences division develops technologies related to data-over-sound, low latency spatial audio, and high-definition audio transmission. Its patented semiconductor and digital module technologies are utilized by customers such as Bang & Olufsen, Harmon Kardon, and Klipsch.
Recent company activities include a Master Purchase Order Agreement with AP Global Holdings LLC for SanQtum infrastructure and cybersecurity services; the acquisition of API Media Innovations Inc., a provider of audio and visual technologies for media, sports, and entertainment; and an Agreement and Plan of Merger to acquire NYIAX, Inc., a digital media company, to enhance Datavault's digital media capabilities and data monetization platform.
The Company operates in a single business segment. The President and Chief Executive Officer, serving as the chief decision-maker, evaluates performance based on consolidated company-wide results. Operating segments are identified according to the financial information reviewed by the Chief Executive Officer, who uses net income to assess segment performance and allocate resources, including capital investments, share repurchases, and acquisitions. Total assets by segment are not used for decision-making and are therefore not disclosed. The reportable segment's consolidated results for the years ended December 31, 2025 and 2024 include net revenue, cost of net revenue, salaries, benefits, stock-based compensation expense, other segment expenses, depreciation and amortization expense, interest expense, other net expenses, income tax expense, and net loss. Net revenue is also reported by geographic region: North America, Asia Pacific, Europe, and Other, with substantially all long-lived assets located in the United States.
