Delta Air Lines Inc's Comment on Competition and Industry Peers

Delta operates in a highly competitive airline industry characterized by competition in routes, fares, schedules, operational reliability, services, products, customer service, and loyalty programs. Over the past two decades, the industry has undergone consolidation, formed international alliances and immunized joint ventures, and includes subsidized government-sponsored international carriers. These developments have led to airlines and alliances with substantial financial resources, extensive global networks, and competitive cost structures. Delta distinguishes itself through its workforce and culture, operational reliability, global network, customer loyalty, and financial foundation. The airline was recognized by Cirium as North America's most on-time airline in 2025 for the fifth consecutive year. Delta's global network, supported by alliance partners, serves over 150 countries and nearly 1,000 destinations worldwide.
