Caesars Entertainment Inc's Comment on Competition and Industry Peers

The casino entertainment industry is highly competitive, featuring a diverse range of competitors differing in size, geographic reach, facility quality, marketing approaches, and financial stability. Competition exists among casino facilities in local and surrounding areas, newly developed casinos, and tribal gaming expansions across the United States. In Las Vegas, there have been openings, developments, and proposals for large-scale gaming and non-gaming projects. Casino operators, including the reporting company, have been reinvesting in existing properties, developing or rebranding casinos, and acquiring established facilities, contributing to increased competition. In some regions, supply has expanded more rapidly than demand. Properties also face competition from legalized gaming on Native American tribal lands, which may be subject to lower or no taxation. The growth of gaming in California and other areas near the company's properties may negatively impact its operating results.
