The registrant's reportable segments include Chamberlain, Walden, and Medical and Veterinary. Chamberlain offers degree and certificate programs in nursing and health professions postsecondary education. Founded in 1889 as Deaconess College of Nursing and acquired by Adtalem in 2005, Chamberlain provides nursing degrees such as a three-year onsite and online pre-licensure BSN, an online RN-BSN completion option, an online MSN with various specialty tracks, and an online DNP degree. Its College of Health Professions offers an online MPH, an online MSW, and an onsite MPAS. Chamberlain operates 23 campuses and online, with program options including evening/weekend BSN and online BSN launched in 2019 and 2020, respectively. The MSN program features non-direct-care specialty tracks and accelerated options for RNs to earn an MSN directly. Walden offers degree and certificate programs in nursing, education, counseling, business, information technology, psychology, public health, social work and human services, public administration and public policy, and criminal justice. The Medical and Veterinary segment includes the operations of AUC, RUSM, and RUSVM, collectively referred to as the medical and veterinary schools, which offer degree and certificate programs in the medical and veterinary postsecondary education industry.
