The company operates one of the world's largest single-site caprolactam and ammonium sulfate production facilities in the United States, benefiting from scale, lower production costs, and access to low-cost natural gas. Its competitors vary by product segment. In Nylon Solutions, competitors include BASF Corporation, UBE Corporation, DOMO Chemicals GmbH, Envalior, Highsun Group Holdings Ltd., and Sinopec Limited. In Plant Nutrients, competitors consist of caprolactam/ammonium sulfate co-product manufacturers and direct ammonium sulfate producers such as Pasadena Commodities International and Nutrien Ltd.
