The company operates in highly competitive industries and is among the largest global providers of human capital management (HCM) solutions. Its HCM Solutions, Global Solutions, and HRO Solutions (excluding PEO) compete with business outsourcing firms, ERP service providers, cloud-based HCM solution providers, and financial institutions. The PEO business competes with other professional employer organizations offering similar services, as well as business outsourcing companies, ERP service providers, and cloud-based HCM solution providers. The company also faces competition from organizations that develop and manage their own in-house HCM systems. Competition is primarily based on product and service quality, reputation, technology accessibility and ease of use, breadth of offerings, and price.
