Quantum's Comment on Supply Chain

Quantum utilizes contract manufacturers in the U.S. and Mexico, supported by third-party logistics providers in the EMEA and APAC regions. The company sources servers from various vendors for its primary and secondary storage systems, which are integrated and shipped by contract manufacturers. Quantum designs its tape storage systems, which are produced by a global contract manufacturer. Tape media is manufactured in Japan and distributed worldwide. The supply chain has experienced constraints due to inflationary pricing, import tariffs, and extended lead times for some components. Quantum is addressing these challenges by working with suppliers to reduce lead times and liabilities, qualifying alternative components, managing contract manufacturers more closely, and implementing model changes to improve logistics performance and visibility.
