Description of Fold Holdings Inc's Business Segments

The registrant operates as a single operating and reportable segment. Operating segments are defined as components of an enterprise for which separate financial information is regularly reviewed by the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), who serves as the chief operating decision maker (CODM), to allocate resources and assess performance. For the years ended December 31, 2025 and 2024, all operations were conducted within the United States. The CODM evaluates performance and allocates resources based on entity-wide financial information. Consequently, the company operates as one operating and reportable segment. The primary financial measure used by the CODM to assess performance is operating income (loss) as reported in the statements of operations. Segment expenses and other items are provided on the same basis as in the statements of operations. The CODM does not evaluate performance or allocate resources based on segment assets; therefore, segment asset information is not disclosed in the financial statement notes.
