Description of Ardagh Metal Packaging S A's Business Segments
The registrant's reportable operating segments are Europe and Americas. Management reviews the Group's performance based on Adjusted EBITDA, defined as profit or loss before income tax, net finance expense or income, depreciation and amortization, and exceptional operating items. Sales contracts typically allow for the pass-through of metal and energy price fluctuations and recovery of input cost inflation, with some contracts involving tolling arrangements where customers procure metal independently. The Chief Operating Decision Maker (CODM) evaluates segment financial performance using Adjusted EBITDA, including the net effect of the pass-through pricing model. Other items are assessed on a group-wide basis and are not allocated to segments. Segment revenues are generated from external customers; inter-segment revenue is not material.
For 2025, the Europe segment reported revenue of $2,307 million, Adjusted EBITDA of $272 million, capital expenditure of $96 million, and segment assets totaling $2,740 million. The Americas segment reported revenue of $3,190 million, Adjusted EBITDA of $467 million, capital expenditure of $88 million, and segment assets of $2,939 million.
