The company operates globally in the networking and communications services and solutions markets, serving service providers, businesses, government agencies, and other organizations. Its products facilitate voice, data, and video communications over fiber, copper, and wireless infrastructures, including wide area networks, local area networks, and the internet. In the Subscriber Solutions segment, primary competitors include Calix, Ciena, Nokia, eero, RAD, and various Asian-based original design manufacturers selling directly to carriers. In the Access & Aggregation solutions segment, key competitors are Nokia, Calix, Vecima, Harmonic, and Microchip. For Optical Networking solutions, main competitors comprise Ciena, Cisco, Ekinops, Nokia, Smartoptics, and Ribbon Communications.
