Iradimed's Comment on Competition and Industry Peers

The company offers MRI compatible IV infusion pump systems, including the MRidium 3870 and 3860+ models, which are recognized as the only true MRI compatible IV infusion pumps on the market. While the market is currently underpenetrated, it may become more competitive as it develops. The company also competes with manufacturers of "shielded box" solutions that enable conventional IV pumps to be used inside MRI scanner rooms. Providers of these shielded boxes include B. Braun, Fresenius Kabi, and MIPM Mammendorfer Institut für Physik und Medizin. The medical products market is characterized by intense competition, ongoing innovation, and the presence of large, established companies with significant resources and reputations. Competitive factors in this market include product accuracy, reliability, technological advancement, user references, features, effectiveness, and price. The company distributes its MRI compatible products through a direct sales force in the United States and independent distributors internationally.
