Competitors possess extensive operational experience, seasoned management, established market share, profitable operations, significant oil and gas fields or leases, and access to funding for exploration or acquisition. The oil and gas production industry is also well established in northern Alaska, North Dakota, and western Canada. Many competitors maintain midstream and downstream operations and market hydrocarbon products regionally, nationally, or globally. Oil and natural gas compete primarily on price with alternative energy sources such as wind, solar, coal, and fuel oils. The Company has a limited operating history and fewer financial, technical, and manpower resources, as well as less proven crude oil reserves and distribution channels compared to its competitors. Its current production levels are modest, resulting in minimal competitive pressure. However, a significant increase in production could lead to increased competition from other small independent oil producers, necessitating a focused marketing effort.
