Serving retail, wholesale, and foodservice clients, Mission Produce, Inc. is a global leader in sourcing, manufacturing, and distributing fresh avocados.
We have two reporting segments in addition to our operational segments:
Fruit is largely sourced from growers and then distributed through our global distribution network by Marketing and Distribution.
International Farming owns and runs orchards from which our Marketing and Distribution section purchases the majority of the fruit produced. Farming operations in this section span from growing early-stage plants to harvesting mature trees. During the avocado off-harvest season, the segment also derives service income from packaging and processing for growers of other crops. The International Farming section is mostly based in Peru, with minor enterprises sprouting up in other Latin American countries.
