Description of Xcf Global Inc
XCF Global, Inc. is a Delaware corporation specializing in the production of sustainable aviation fuel (SAF), a synthetic kerosene derived from waste- and residue-based feedstocks including waste oils, fats, green and municipal waste, and non-food crops. The company has established initial production facilities through acquisitions in Nevada, Florida, and North Carolina, including New Rise Reno Renewables LLC and related entities. XCF produces SAF that can be blended with conventional Jet-A fuel for use in existing aircraft without modification, aiming to reduce the aviation industry's carbon footprint. Depending on feedstock and production methods, SAF can lower lifecycle greenhouse gas emissions by up to 80% compared to conventional jet fuel. The company is also exploring the production of other renewable fuels such as renewable diesel and bio-based glycerol. XCF plans to develop a nationwide portfolio of production facilities using waste-based feedstocks and to implement an integrated business model encompassing feedstock supply, production, marketing, and sales. As one of the few publicly traded U.S. renewable fuels companies primarily focused on SAF, XCF differentiates itself from traditional crude oil refiners. Its growth is supported by regulatory incentives, including U.S. tax credits, and international aviation emission reduction commitments from organizations such as ICAO and the European Union.
The company operates a single reportable segment focused on renewable fuels. This segment is expected to generate revenue from the sale of renewable energy products once the company's plant facilities become fully operational. The senior executive committee, comprising the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Financial Officer, serves as the chief operating decision maker. Performance evaluation and resource allocation for the renewable fuels segment are based on net income (loss) and total assets as presented in the consolidated statements of operations and balance sheets. Key expense categories and other segment information provided to the chief operating decision maker correspond to those reported in the company's consolidated statements of operations.
