Prior to this acquisition, the Company operated as a single segment engaged in the development of innovative cancer medicines based on cell cycle, transcriptional regulation, and mitosis control biology. The Chief Executive Officer (CEO), serving as the chief operating decision maker, oversees resource allocation and business processes globally across the consolidated business. The CEO evaluates performance and allocates company-wide resources based on consolidated net loss, the principal measure of segment profit and loss.
