Company Fundamentals Dataset
Statements, ratios, scores and a one-call company overview for 13,000+ US-listed companies. Institutional ownership and point-in-time history are separate products.
What data it carries
The current, latest-known view of a company’s financials and ratios — statements plus the derived analytics built on top of them.
- The six analytics · growth, profitability, valuation, financial strength, efficiency & management effectiveness, each at the company level
- Statements · income, balance-sheet & cash-flow, as raw rows for pipeline ingestion and as display-ready per-company views
- Composite scores · a scores aggregate and a z-scores distress measure, both per company
- Composite company overview report · one call returns profile, financials, ratios and related sections together, each section status-labelled
- Per-share metrics, quant profile & signals · derived from the same statement data
- Company dashboard · a single-call summary view for one ticker
Why it’s a separate product from ownership and point-in-time
Statement-derived fundamentals, institutional ownership, and point-in-time history are three different questions. They’re kept as three products so a license or an integration only pulls in what it actually needs.
- Institutional ownership (13F) and insider transactions (Forms 3, 4, 5) are a separate dataset. View the Institutional Ownership Dataset.
- As-first-reported, as-revised, or as-known-on-a-past-date fundamentals are a separate, deeper-history dataset. View Point-in-Time Fundamentals.
- This dataset is the current, latest-known view of a company’s financials and ratios — the one most integrations reach for first.
Best real-life usage
- Screening & ranking: compare growth, profitability, valuation and scores across a peer set.
- Company dashboards: one overview-report or dashboard call per company for a financial-summary UI.
- Model inputs: per-share metrics and the six analytics as factor or feature inputs.
- Pipeline ingestion: bulk statement rows from the Screening & Bulk Dataset, joined to this dataset’s per-company ratios.

Over MCP with AI agents
Connect an AI agent to the CSIMarket MCP server (mcp.csimarket.com) and it can call these endpoints as tools, no glue code. Ask in plain language; the agent picks the endpoints, fetches the data, and composes the answer.
- “What’s Apple’s profitability and financial strength trend over the last five years?”
- “Give me a one-call overview of Microsoft: profile, financials and ratios.”
- “Which of these five companies has the strongest scores right now?”
