This deployment will help the Carabinieri modernize and improve the reliability of voice recording and incident reconstruction in their 514 emergency communication centers across Italy. With over seven million emergency calls handled annually, this implementation is expected to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the Carabinieri’s emergency response efforts.
In another development, NICE has also confirmed a planned leadership transition. Barak Eilam, the current Chief Executive Officer, has announced his decision to step down from his position, effective December 31, 2024. Eilam will continue to serve as CEO until the end of the year to ensure a smooth transition and will actively participate in the search for his successor. Additionally, he will collaborate with the new leader during a transition period.
