Description of Xos Inc's Business Segments

The Company operates a single segment, developing, marketing, and selling primarily one class of similar products, including electric stepvans, stripped chassis vehicles, battery systems, hubs, and related products. The Chief Executive Officer, serving as the chief operating decision maker (CODM), regularly evaluates the segment's performance and allocates resources based on consolidated revenue, gross profit, employee-related costs, and net income (loss). There are no segment managers responsible for operations or results below the consolidated unit level. Accordingly, the Company reports under one operating segment, applying accounting policies consistent with those outlined in its summary of significant accounting policies.
