Description of Standex International
Standex International Corporation was incorporated in 1975 and is the successor of a corporation organized in 1955. We have paid dividends each quarter since Standex became a public corporation in November 1964.
We are a leading manufacturer of a variety of products and services for diverse commercial and industrial market segments. We have 11 operating segments, aggregated and organized for reporting purposes into five segments: Food Service Equipment Group, Engraving Group, Engineering Technologies Group, Electronics Products Group and Hydraulics Products Group. Overall management, strategic development and financial control are maintained by the executive staff from our corporate headquarters located in Salem, New Hampshire.
Food Service Equipment Group
The Food Service Equipment Group is segmented into three primary categories:
1. Refrigeration Solutions: This group focuses on manufacturing walk-in coolers and freezers, as well as cabinet coolers intended for various commercial settings including restaurants, supermarkets, hospitals, and drug stores. In addition to food services, their refrigeration solutions are utilized within life sciences and scientific applications, catering to the needs of laboratory and pharmaceutical environments, including the storage and testing of sensitive biological materials.
2. Cooking Solutions: This division works on a variety of cooking equipment essential for commercial food preparation. The product line includes ovens, fryers, warmers, grills, and other cooking appliances that enhance food preparation efficiency in restaurants, caterers, and institutional cafeterias.
3. Specialty Solutions: This sector covers unique applications, such as specialty pumps for beverage processing and bespoke display merchandising products for retail environments.
Standex’s Food Service Equipment products are established across key commercial environments, ensuring that they meet the industrys essential criteria for food safety, energy efficiency, and equipment reliability. The manufacturing footprint is expansive, with facilities located in the United States (including Wisconsin, Mississippi, South Carolina, Texas), Mexico, and Ireland. Additionally, they operate a culinary demonstration center in Allen, Texas to showcase products and train customers.

Standexs Engraving Group comprises three distinct lines of business:

MoldTech’s services interface closely with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), providing essential texture solutions for components such as dashboards.
2. Rolls Plates and Machinery: This niche division engraves patterns into rolls utilized for texturizing a range of materials including plastics, building materials, and packaging.
3. Innovent: This line provides specialized tools and machines for producing hygiene products that contain absorbent materials.
The Engraving Group leverages its global manufacturing network to service a diverse clientele in industries including automotive, textiles, and electronics. With a focus on establishing greenfield facilities in emerging markets, they aim to expand their presence further.
