Description of Netskope Inc
Netskope is a company specializing in security and networking solutions for cloud and artificial intelligence environments. The company developed Netskope One, a unified, cloud-native platform designed to secure and accelerate digital interactions for enterprises. Netskope One provides contextual intelligence into data and digital interactions, enabling precise security controls without compromising user experience. Using patented technologies, the platform enforces dynamic, granular, context-aware policies to protect sensitive data, prevent threats, ensure regulatory compliance, and support digital operations. Netskope One is designed to manage complex digital environments with globally dispersed users and non-human entities such as devices, applications, automated systems, and AI agents. The solution addresses the need for advanced security measures to manage distributed and dynamic connections, safeguarding organizations, their personnel, and data.
The Company identifies its operating segments in accordance with ASC 280, Segment Reporting. Operating segments are components of the enterprise for which separate financial information is regularly evaluated by the Chief Executive Officer, who serves as the Company's Chief Operating Decision Maker (CODM), to allocate resources and assess performance. The CODM reviews financial information on a consolidated basis to allocate resources, evaluate financial performance, and monitor budget versus actual results based on net income (loss) reported in the consolidated statements of operations. The Company operates a single operating segment, with assets reported as total assets on the consolidated balance sheets. Revenue disaggregation by geography indicates that, aside from the United States, no other country accounted for 10% or more of total revenue during the fiscal years ended January 31, 2026, 2025, and 2024. Long-lived assets are summarized by geographic area for the United States and the rest of the world.
