Description of Figure Technology Solutions Inc
Figure is a technology company developing blockchain-based solutions for capital markets, with a focus on lending, trading, and investing in consumer credit and digital assets. Its proprietary platform automates loan origination and capital market processes to improve speed, efficiency, standardization, and liquidity. Operating in the consumer credit market valued at approximately $2 trillion and the cryptocurrency and digital asset market valued at $3 trillion, Figure's Loan Origination System reduces home equity loan funding time to a median of 10 days and lowers production costs to about $717 per loan. The platform automates income verification, replaces traditional appraisals with an automatic valuation model, and enables remote closings. All assets and transactions are recorded on Provenance Blockchain, an independent Layer 1 blockchain that has processed over $70 billion in transactions since 2018. Initially offering direct-to-consumer home equity loans, Figure expanded through partner-branded strategies, maintaining 307 active partners as of December 31, 2025. The company also launched Figure Connect, a blockchain-based marketplace linking loan sellers and buyers. In 2025, Figure established a joint venture with Sixth Street Partners, Fig SIX Mortgage, LLC, to purchase and securitize HELOC loans. Since its founding, Figure has achieved profitability and significant growth in loan volume and equity.
Following the Recombination, the Company operates as a single operating and reportable segment. The legacy executive management teams have been consolidated into one executive team, with the Chief Executive Officer serving as the Chief Operating Decision Maker (CODM). The CODM reviews financial information on a consolidated basis for operating decisions, resource allocation, and performance evaluation, using consolidated net income (loss) from the Consolidated Statements of Operations. Significant expense categories and revenue streams reviewed by the CODM are presented on the face of the Consolidated Statements of Operations. The CODM does not review assets, liabilities, or capital expenditures at a more detailed level; therefore, no such disclosures are provided. Total consolidated assets are presented on the Consolidated Balance Sheets. The majority of the Company’s revenues and long-lived assets are located in the United States, and no single customer accounts for more than 10% of consolidated revenues. The change in segment reporting did not affect the Company’s consolidated financial position, results of operations, cash flows, or stockholders’ equity.
