Description of Energy Co Of Minas Gerais's Business Segments
The registrant's reportable operating business segments include distributed generation, account services, cogeneration, energy efficiency (including the Energy Efficiency Program resources – Programa de Eficiência Energética, or PEE), and supply and storage management. CEMIG SIM has invested in the acquisition and development of operating plants and greenfield projects, holds equity interests in distributed generation photovoltaic power plants, and plans further investments in the distributed generation segment. The strategic plan focuses on captive networks, including distribution, transmission, and gas distribution, as well as competitive market segments such as centralized generation, commercialization, and distributed generation.
