Description of Coeur Mining Inc

Coeur Mining, Inc. is a gold and silver producer with mines located in the United States, Mexico, and Bolivia and exploration projects in Mexico and Argentina. The Company operates the Palmarejo complex, the Rochester, Kensington, Wharf, and San Bartolomé mines, and also owns Coeur Capital, which is primarily comprised of the Endeavor silver stream. The Company’s principal sources of revenue are its operating mines and, to a lesser extent, the Endeavor silver stream.
The company produces and sells precious metals through several operating segments. These include the Las Chispas underground silver-gold mine in Sonora, Mexico, operational since 2022 and acquired by Coeur in early 2025; the Palmarejo silver-gold complex in Chihuahua, Mexico, operational since 2009; the Rochester open pit heap leach silver-gold mine in northwestern Nevada, operational since 1986 with a significant expansion completed in 2024; the Kensington underground gold mine north of Juneau, Alaska, operational since 2010; and the Wharf open pit heap leach gold mine near Lead, South Dakota, operational since 1982. The company also operates the Silvertip underground silver-zinc-lead exploration project in northern British Columbia, Canada, acquired by Coeur in 2017. Additionally, the company has entered into an agreement to acquire New Gold Inc., which will add the New Afton gold-copper mine and the Rainy River gold-silver mine in Canada to its operations upon closing, anticipated in the first half of 2026.
