As of 2024, the registrant operated two segments: nuclear fuels, and specialist isotopes and related services. Following the acquisition of Skyline in August 2025, the registrant expanded to three segments: nuclear fuels; specialist isotopes and related services; and construction services.
The Nuclear Fuels segment focuses on research and development of technologies and methods for producing high-assay low-enriched uranium (HALEU) and Lithium-6 for advanced nuclear fuel markets. The Specialist Isotopes and Related Services segment develops technologies and methods to separate high-value, low-volume isotopes such as carbon-14 (C-14), silicon-28 (Si-28), and ytterbium-176 (Yb-176) for specialized markets including pharmaceuticals, agrochemicals, nuclear medical imaging, and semiconductors; this segment also includes PET Labs. The Construction Services segment provides public civil engineering services in Hong Kong, including road and drainage works, site clearing, demolition, concrete installation, excavation, and planting.
In early 2025, the registrant began commercial production of enriched isotopes at ASP enrichment facilities in Pretoria, South Africa. It targets commercial shipments of enriched C-14 and Si-28 in mid-2026 and the second quarter of 2026, respectively, and Yb-176 in mid-2026 or the third quarter of 2026. The registrant aims to demonstrate the capability to produce commercial quantities of enriched C-14, Si-28, and Yb-176 using ASP and QE technologies to address supply chain challenges, noting that Russia has historically been the sole supplier of C-14.
