What are Acnb's Business Segments?
The Corporation has two reporting segments, the Bank and RIG. RIG is managed
separately from the banking segment, which includes the Bank and related financial
services that the Corporation offers through its banking subsidiary. RIG offers
a broad range of property and casualty, life and health insurance to both commercial
and individual clients.
The Bank acts as an independent community financial services provider, which
offers traditional banking and related financial services to individual, business,
and government customers. Through its branch and automated teller machine networks,
the Bank offers a full array of commercial and retail financial services, including
the taking of time, savings, and demand deposits; the making of commercial,
consumer, and mortgage loans; and the providing of other financial services.
Management does not separately allocate expenses, including the cost of funding
loan demand, between the commercial, retail and mortgage banking operations
of the Bank.
