Chilean Cobalt's Comment on Supply Chain

The company has a non-binding letter of intent with USSM to process and refine cobalt and copper concentrate, with the refined outputs intended for use in cobalt metal, battery chemical intermediates, and other advanced materials. The company is working with USSM to finalize downstream processing terms. A Deed of Undertaking was signed with a subsidiary of Glencore plc, granting Glencore rights of first and last refusal to purchase cobalt and copper products from the La Cobaltera and El Cofre projects. Chilean Cobalt is participating in a research and development project funded by a $3,000,000 grant from Albermarle Limitada to evaluate cobalt and copper recovery from legacy waste piles at La Cobaltera. The project consortium includes Universidad Andres Belo, Pucobre, and ENAMI. Additionally, the company entered into a binding earn-in and option agreement with NeoRe SpA to acquire mining concessions rich in rare earth elements near Concepcion, Chile. The company has adopted the Digbee and IRMA ESG frameworks and plans to complete an independent Digbee ESG assessment in 2025.
