Other industries, such as Construction Raw Materials, Construction & Mining Machinery, Industrial Machinery and Components, Auto & Truck Parts, Agricultural Production, Oil And Gas Production, Oil & Gas Integrated Operations, Renewable Energy Services & Equipment, Semiconductors, and Electric Utilities, all experienced revenue decline to varying degrees. However, Xylem’s business partners in Natural Gas Utilities performed well.
The performance of Pentair Plc (PNR), one of Xylem’s corporate customers, saw a revenue decline of 1.1%, signaling the broader contraction in company conditions.
To counteract these challenges, Xylem must focus on its corporate XYL Capital expenditure investments rose by 0.35%, indicating the management’s positive outlook. Additionally, it is noteworthy that industries related to capital expenditure, such as the Communications Equipment Industry, experienced a 7.72% downturn, while the Oil Well Services & Equipment Industry saw a 2.42% revenue increase.
