Beachgoers in Myrtle Beach and Hilton Head, SC, will now enjoy an enhanced 5G experience, thanks to Verizon’s expanded service in these popular coastal destinations. According to a recent survey, nearly 75% of beachgoers typically use their phones while enjoying the sun and surf, with just under two-thirds of those bringing their phones admitting to using them for work-related purposes.
In comparison to its competitors, Verizon Communications Inc reported a modest revenue increase of 0.21% year on year in the first quarter of 2024. However, this growth fell below the average revenue growth of 5.66% achieved by Verizon’s competitors during the same period. Despite this, Verizon outperformed its rivals in terms of profitability, boasting a net margin of 14.32%.
Although Verizon’s net income in the first quarter of 2024 experienced a decline of -5.9% compared to the previous year, it’s important to note that this dip was slower than the income growth of 25.22% seen by its competitors.
