TechnipFMC Awarded Large iEPCI Contracts for Energean’s Katlan Development and Woodside Energy’s Xena Phase 3 Development
TechnipFMC, a leading engineering, procurement, construction, and installation (EPCI) company, has recently secured two significant contracts for offshore projects. The first contract is from Energean for its Katlan development in the Mediterranean Sea, while the second contract is from Woodside Energy for the Xena Phase 3 Development in Australia.
For the Katlan development, TechnipFMC will provide an integrated EPCI solution, utilizing its configure-to-order Subsea 2.0 production systems. This marks the first project where Energean will utilize TechnipFMC’s advanced technology. The contract follows an integrated Front End Engineering and Design (iFEED) study conducted by TechnipFMC, which focused on optimizing the project’s commercial and technological aspects.
Similarly, TechnipFMC has also been awarded a significant iEPCI contract by Woodside Energy for the Xena Infill well (XNA03) project. Under this contract, TechnipFMC will be responsible for designing, manufacturing, and installing the subsea production system, flexible pipe, and umbilicals. The project aims to support ongoing production at the Pluto LNG Project. Just like the contract with Energean, this award also follows an integrated Front End Engineering and Design (iFEED) study.
These contracts affirm the strong position of TechnipFMC in the offshore industry, showcasing its expertise in providing fully integrated solutions for complex projects. By leveraging their advanced technologies and engineering capabilities, TechnipFMC ensures efficient project execution, reduced costs, and improved overall performance.
