AECOM Continues to Secure Major Infrastructure Projects and Earn Global Recognition
Dallas-based infrastructure consulting firm, AECOM, has recently been selected by the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) for a significant project in Austin, Texas. AECOM will provide project inspection services for the construction of drainage tunnels as part of the next phase of TxDOT’s $4.5 billion Capital Express Central project.
The Capital Express Central project aims to enhance the storm drainage infrastructure in Austin by delivering two large-diameter drainage tunnels and a pump station. This improvement will effectively relieve flood-related issues and ensure the city’s resilience during severe weather events.
