In an earlier announcement, REE Automotive confirmed that it has successfully achieved Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards (FMVSS) and Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) certifications for its P7-C electric chassis cab. This significant milestone enables REE to commence customer deliveries of the P7-C, setting the stage for a transformative shift in the commercial vehicle sector.
Further highlighting its commitment to expanding its market presence, REE Automotive has shipped a demonstrator version of the P7-C to FMI Truck Sales & Service in the United States. Jointly with FMI Trucks, REE Automotive plans to conduct evaluations of the P7-C vehicle with prominent Northwest fleets such as Franz Bakery, Bedmart, Indoor Billboard, PointS Tires, and Kellys Home Center.
