In a related initiative aimed at nurturing the future workforce, PPG has contributed digital tools to 15 vocational schools across more than ten countries over the past 15 months. This initiative, part of a $2 million project, focuses on fostering interest in the automotive repair sector, which has been notably affected by a skilled labor shortage. By providing schools with the PPG LINQ digital ecosystem designed for vehicle refinishing, the company hopes to inspire young talent and address the challenges posed by a diminishing skilled workforce.
